Not sure whether to call this company Softsmith or The Software Guild. They seem to be kind of coextensive. Anyway. I’ll go with Softsmith.

The Bug, Color Me, and Juggler have price stickers on the front for $6 from COMB (Close-Out Merchandise Buyers), and Algebra 2 had a receipt from COMB listing 5 items at $6 from January 1985. So it is likely that Softsmith liquidated around then and COMB bought them out.
