As far as I can tell, Write-On! and Write-On! II were originally published by Rainbow Computing (as well as Write-On! III for the Apple III). At some point, Datamost took over and sold it. This appears to be Write-On! II based on the label on the disk. It appears that Rainbow sold Write-On! and Write-On! II simultaneously, the latter being a feature-enhanced version.
So, my guess is that Datamost sold Write-On! II under the name Write-On!, confusingly. Main Street also got a distribution license for this later as well. I wasn’t able to dig up much about this. Things referring to the Datamost version didn’t mention Rainbow, and things referring to the Rainbow version didn’t mention Datamost. Perhaps Rainbow folded.
Also, I noticed after taking the initial photos that I think this binder is meant to be used as a stand as well, there seems to be some kind of foot that can be pulled out. Might want to add photos, maybe even re-shoot the video.
